The Lion was originally built for an brewery company on Lambert Street, Then removed. Someone then decided to paint it red and overtime, someone scrap off the red paint on one of the paws and found the name of the sculptor whom was William Frederick Woodington. The South Bank Lion is now located on the west side of Westminster bridge. If you are walking west on the left side of Westminster bridge You will walk pass this Effigy first as you head towards the famous eye of London Ferris wheel.
